Anyadwe Children and Family Association was established in 1997. The organisation set up services following the identification of gaps in the services needed to be provided to the African and other BME Communities, most of the target communities (The African Refugees and other Ethnic groups) living in the Inner City Boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich, Southwark and Lambeth. The organisation’s aims and objectives are:
• To preserve and promote health
• To improve educational achievement amongst children and young people.
• To relieve people who are suffering from poor health and distress.
• To promote African and Black Culture and Heritage.
